We’re in the home stretch, people. In a few short months you’ll be buying a new calendar (if you’re one of the estimated 300 people still purchasing physical calendars), eating stupid-big meals, and RSVP’ing to holiday parties. But before we send off 2025, there are probably a few other events on the horizon—like fall weddings. Choosing fall wedding attire is hard enough with the season’s unpredictable weather and current events—who has time to factor in trends?

Fall Wedding Attire Trends
i. Velvet
Velvet is the fabric of the fall. It brings that cozy, warm texture to your look in the cooler months without actually making you feel too warm while you're wearing it. People will consider touching your sleeve without asking which is fun to watch, and perhaps your only opportunity ever to say “Go ahead, it’s velvet.”
Velvet might seem intimidating, if not impractical or too opulent for the typical wedding. It's the polar opposite of your daily denim, and that's kind of the point. Why would you go to the trouble of getting dressed up just to blend in?
